My Xmas Pressies!

Yoo Hoo! End of Xmas! So lets have a post-xmas celebration!

Yay~~~~~~~~~~!

Arh ... just joking... so many celebrations not tired? Let's have a debrief and a thanksgiving session~!

*drumroll*

The very first present I received was from PW, my colleague who went on long leave right next day after she pass me the present! Long Leave! Lookie~lookie~ Precious Moments... Isn't it cute?

Next, handmade present from Philchan (Note: its Phil Chan cos the surname is "Chan" not the Japanese way of saying 小something k?) This handmade box contained 4 glass bunnies! Just when I wanted to pester Dar to let me rear bunnies~ ;D

As bunnies wanted to breed, I shall leave them in the box for their privacy... *no peeping!*

The ever-famous Ferrero Rocher (16) from Allan!

Another present from Philchan who bought these cute voodoo dolls. I chose the one most suitable as it says its an amulet for "health and protection"

Claire got one suitable for her too... its called the Diva though I thought it looks more like Sumo Wrestler with its pampers-like shorts/pants/err?

Another mousepad received from June~ Of cos the bear did not say "shake it in the morning shake it in the evening" obviously it was added on. Now I have 2 new mouse pads and probably will not need to buy anymore for the next 5yrs or so ... keke

Present from Mom and Dad who came to see me on the first day of Christmas *on the first day of xmas my true love gave to me~~~*

Rocher again! and of cos some chicken soup which I gulped down at Santa Claus speed (1/1000th of a second! Go Reindeer go!) and did not take any photo.

Lastly, presents from me to me! Ain't they cute?
(Cute but doesn't taste nice AT all)

Why oh why didn't my hubby give me any present? He did! However, I was forbidden to blog about it. Photos .... yes... Blog... no... Sigh .. those who followed my Twitter would have seen it. However, still no blog... no no no!

Special thanks to all who twittered/facebooked/commented/tagboarded/smsed me like Chin Wee, Kelly, Christopher, Sally, Serene, Cendrine, April, Bobo, Trin, Aron, Ahwei..........

Thank you and have a great year ahead!

Shopping Cart Software for all your needs!

I've mentioned before that my dream is to have my own shop. An Onde Onde shop! Set up together with a few of my good friends. There is this upcoming trend to set up online shops. Shopping blogs, furniture blog, grocery shops, online shops selling art and paintings and even online shops selling recycled things. One thing I've noticed why these online shops are not around for long is because they are not customer oriented enough. There isn't much convenience when shopping online where customers have to email their orders to the sellers who may neglect the emails or even mix up the orders. Its also shows the professionalism of the owner of the shop if procedures are not organized. Get a shopping cart software! The award winning technology allows sellers to customize the software to their needs for a small monthly fee. You don't have to worry that the shopping cart does not go well with the theme of the online shop. This will certainly come into use when my online onde onde shop goes live!

Xmas dinner rawks! First xmas in H3 a success!

Merry Merry XMAS!

Went to Meifang's housewarming on Sat morning and saw these:

So cute right? Wish I can bring them home keke ;D

Presents for gift exchange for the dinner later in the evening. Have to wrap and tag them the night before .....

Phil bought these for the dinner though I heard June will be bringing some along as well.

Turkey and honey baked ham (without the honey taste) from Canadian Pizza... Arrived on time though we have to cut it ourselves and its cold. Though it looks nice on the pic, the taste is not very nice though.

Vege by little ol' me~ as you can see all the rest of the dishes are "heavy" food.

Having some fun putting on the glow-bracelets Phil brought. Since we don't have deco, do whatever we can to make it seem xmassy kekeke

I chose Green! Since its the brightest of the lot ;D

Actually we do have xmas deco.. but only limited to this:

on our fridge and it became:

after the party keke cos I don know what to do with the bracelets so I stuck them there.

Look at the spread of food!

After the dinner comes the cake cutting before xmas gift exchange.

Cute "frozen" Santa which began to "sweat" under my dining room light as we tried the wine brought by June and Phil.

Gift Exchange!!! Mugs seems like the most popular gift of the year~ though I think the best "lot" goes to the Pictionary board game given by Phil and lucky Dar got that as a present~

Worst (Jokingly) "lot" seems to be the Ferrero Roche (16) given by Allan... and lucky me got that as a present... hmm... is that a hint from above that I am not fat enough or a tease to tell me I'm too fat?

Happy with our gift from June! (Will blog further abt the gifts received in later entries) Look at Kaiting! Her pose so cute ... keke

Pictionary time! I was dragged into the game from chatting with Endoh and was like quite confused abt playing the game .. seems like the game = win lose or draw .. though there are restrictions of 1 min, colour category, no numbers or symbols or gestures. There is even another dice that added more fun by asking pple to draw with eyes closed, within 1 line or using opposite hand to the frequent hand. (e.g right hander use left to draw)

Lots of fun trying to decipher drawings keke

Guess what this is???

its..................... KIWI! and we were like shouting : Chicken! Soup! Chicken Rice! Miso Soup! hahaha

Look at Claire's "mouse" (cat?) at the bottom corner of the page! "mouse"... duh!

My version of Internet drawn eyes closed

And Jing Jing's Sheep dog... my goodness and we were wondering what she meant when she nodded to us shouting "mist"...

Her explaination was mist -> clouds-> white/fluffy -> sheep!! How complicated!!

and my "puppy" drawn eyes closed. People are shouting "dog shit!" when I was trying to draw a big dog and a small dog.

Jing Jing's version of bride when she was trying to draw "veil".... now what's so special about it?
Special because she was nodding when I said "the hat of a NUN" now what has that got to do with veil??? Further, she was trying to draw a bride! Keke! Typical Jing Jing

Phil's grizzly bear... isn't that cute?

and his "octopus" tat look more like alien onde onde with legs

guess what this is? ... clue: its an action.

and Kaiting's Tapioca! Haha .. no la its a cactus...

Yanxing's Singapore Changi Airport...!

Its been like so long since we had so much fun together... Cherise the time we had together this xmas and I am glad so many pple can make it to this gathering though there are glitches ..... like no xmas deco, too much left over food...nevertheless.... Thank ya all! (and sorry to my neighbours... cos we were shouting and laughing like siao but I doubt you will be reading these ;P)

Play Slots

Online slots machine is so fun! My friend asked me whether I wanted to go Casino to play slots machine. Well, I told him I definitely won’t take the hassle to travel there to fight with tons of people for the kind of slot machine I wanted. Further, casino slots machine are inanimated and looks so boring. I rather play the variety of slots offered by Sloterix what with the 24hrs online support in various languages made game playing even more fun. Not to mention the earnings I can get there.

Orchard Hotel Caroling

Went down to Orchard hotel on Friday to watch Claire's performance with Hall 8's Choir. Being part of Hall 8 and singing in a group too, I was naturally interested in watching other choirs.

What amazed me was not the lighting decorations at Orchard. Rather its the number of people there. So much so that I can't even cross the road without queueing and fighting with pple who are trying to come in front of me (Yes Auntie... that's U) Frankly, lighting decorations will be prettier without so many irritating lights from cars. ;D

My favourite photo for the day. One of the deco at Orchard Hotel.

The erm... xmas balls....

.... are actually part of the gigantic xmas tree in the lobby.

My super juniors...

They will be having another performance (7.30pm & 8.30pm) today and also tml at Orchard Hotel I believe, please do go and listen to them if you happened to be at Orchard ;D

Two Lives, One Dream

Attended Joycelyn and Tat Wai's wedding dinner on Monday... I'm So sorry I haven blogged it yet keke

Was held at Hilton Hotel' Grand ball room.

Everything was great but for the rain that spoiled it (and our clothes)

Grand Ballroom and it was really really very grand ;D We were shocked by the number of people standing outside the ballroom for cocktail. Served some drinks and snacks while the waiting to get into the ballroom.

Class Girls whom I get along well with since Sec sch. Even though we are not like in touch everyday, they are great friends whom I can discuss with, chat with and rely on.

Of cos~ the food! (which I think most pple are interested in) Not too great for a hotel like Hilton, in fact, it was a bit disappointing.

However, the service was great though we can see the person who served us was a tad too nervous as he keep mixing up our drinks, dropping items etc. Still, he remain his most polite manner and we didn't tekan him at all la. After all its a happy occasion and he din do anything too badly.

Tat Wai's brother singing song in congrats to the couple's marriage.

The lovely couple. Look at Joycelyn... so chio keke ;D She had always been one of the 偶像派 people in our class.

With Class 4/4's gang. The closer people whom I hanged out with during Sec Sch.

Of cos, how can we let the groom off so easily! so its beer + egg + chilli for them to 早生贵子 keke ... they wanted to add more till some one said

够了! 要他们连孙子都生出来啊!

But in the end, no one drank this cept for Judy, Wileen, Jianxin and I cause its a Monday night and the couple are trying to get through the dinner so that people can go home early. As usual, we are always the last people to leave, either drinking or laughing too much. ;D

Thank you Jocelyn and Tat Wai for inviting us to share your joy~ Its such a sweet and wonderful occasion.

Have a blissful marriage Joycelyn and Tat Wai! 白头谐老! Happy Marriage! Photobucket
