Did this with some photos and my super 烂 photoshop skills ... took the photos when we on the way to Suan Thai .. Dar managed to climb up that thing without much difficulties... I think I will take forever if I were to climb up there to sit ... duh~~

Went to work late yesterday and was like reached Boon Lay MRT station. As there are more people rushing for the escalator than lift, I went for the lift instead ..

When I started to get into the lift, this Aunty with short hair (growing grey), pink top and black pants BEHIND me, ELBOWED me to get into the lift ~! If you are the culprit pls feel guilty ...

I do agree that elders shld be respected and hey if you set such a "good" example for us youngsters, I'm sure you will be duly respected.... *sarcasm involved*

and the worse thing is, when the lift reached and we proceeded to get out of the lift.... this clever old lady stopped in the middle of the track (nt all of us got out yet ... and its right outside the lift) to ................. search for her EZlink card~! wow~ how smart this elder is ...

I certainly worshipped you. she proceeded to tsk me when I push past her ... *its abt teaching youngsters manners ...*

Went down to Orchard today with the purpose of getting Cinti's and JF's present ... meeting Claire and Dar for lunch before meeting JF and Phil for dinner at Suan Thai 101 Liang Court



went to Ichiban Boshi at Wisma for lunch... yummy~! heheh

Esp the desserts... being a sucker for desserts.... I wanted to just eat dessert and not have a main course ... but Dar and Claire says no ... in case I black out again ...

Desserts~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~! Love the Guava sorbet I ordered ... it doesn't taste that great when I first eat it .. however the taste gets better at the bottom .. you can even eat the fruit which they hollowed out for the sorbet ... ;) Mango is nice too~

Project A goes on as planned after the (heavy) lunch and bought some World of Sports vouchers for JF and Taka vouchers for Cinti ... y vouchers? Well... we are people who prefer getting presents that are practical ... giving money seems so duh ... so its vouchers ... what else but WOS for fitness freak JF and Taka vouchers for Shopping queen Cinti?

Being too full .... and Party world Orchard doesnt cater to KTV @ Lounge in the afternoon... we proceeded to stone at Starbucks for the next hr or so ...

STONE??? aiyo~ So 难得that I goes down to Orchard... Y din I shop? Hmm well... firstly, I am not a shopping person ... and next .. the crowd gets to me ... and last... there are 2 no-I-dun-wanna-walk-anymore-non-shoppers with me ...

Cam whore~ ignore this .. hahah ... since Dar is not a person to take photos... take this opportunity to take more .. and more ... and more~!

Project B: Suan Thai 101

Not bad a place with good atmosphere ... cosy, abit cramp if u sit right at the back of the restaurant ..

We took up the budget buffet dinner menu like 17.90 ++ (with 10% discount due to Liang Court opening) and can choose from 23 dishes..! Though some are only for 1 time order, no one seems to be taking note .. around once or twice we were asked whether we ordered those special dishes before .. which I feel is not a great customer-pro thing to do...

still, food taste great .. though my stomach don't quite agree with spicy stuffs.... Loved the Kai Lan and Satay chicken .. seems like chicken is the chef recommendation... and true to their words, they taste great~! So is the green curry .. (though there were some jobs that the curry looks like mold)

Nevertheless, its a great place to have a bdae celebration... a small outing .. but do make a reservation before going cos when we got there at like 6+ the place was almost fully booked.

Halfway thru the dinner, Ah Di was craving for desserts... and mention that Riciotti is nearby ...

Riciotti, an Italian Deli and pastry restaurant located at Boat Quay... one of the restaurants under the Garibaldi group ... I once went for interview at Garibaldi .. however I rejected the job as the welfare was too harsh ... in a very small and cramp office .. but still... the food is great and I wonder will there be any staff discounts if I accepted the job that time (hehe this is call giam beng)

Great presentation of the desserts ... the price is tipping towards expensive... each of the small pastry u see there cost around $5.90 - $6.90 yes .. its EACH~!

Loved its Tiramisu ... and thats the pastry in the first pic ... its VavaVoom! (ooooooo~~) melt in the mouth taste... (wooooooooooooooooow~~) .. its the BEST Tiramisu I've ever tasted .. hehe ... not that I've tried alot but the taste, the blend of the cocoa powder and the wine is just great~! Cannot be described in words... u'll know when u taste it ... ;P

Also liked the Cassata Siciliana in the 2nd pic ...of Ricotta cheese, citrus fruits and dark choc chips... at first the taste wasn't too overwhelming .. abit to the norm... but as u eat, you can taste the individual ingredients yet they blend well..... most desserts taste abit 腻 after sometime .. but this pastry ... taste just as great right to the last bite....

The best is, there is 50% discount on pastries after 9 PM~! yay~! that means u can eat twice as much..... Faster go~~ hahaha I already said I'm a sucker for desserts though I don't like sweet stuffs.

I was given this great award by Trin .... She is a great blogger, I enjoyed reading her blog as she is full of hope and unpretentious in her writings ....

I'm just glad that her husband is feeling better and is looking forward to seeing her in Singapore in December .... ;)

That God gives me a good (dun dare to say great) voice so that I can take part in Sounds Easy ...

Having the opportunity to perform with a group of real fun people is a great feeling ..

although there is sadness when the number of people reduces ..

I am grateful that memories stay and I can be part of their lives ...

Training with Sounds Easy people is a bliss ... happiness that cannot be describe ... even though I do have to struggle with the scores since I can't read scores ...

Happiness is ........I have the freedom to choose ... to a certain extend ... U may say ... "so what? we are still restricted by a lot of things .. even if we have the freedom to choose ... there may only be limited choices...." but I still feel grateful ... because AT LEAST ... I have choices ... even though limited, they are still my choice ...

A loving family .. who cares ... and will always be there for me ... even though we are at different location .. there are just times where locations does not matter...

did u ever have friends or relative who are not even living near you but u just feel that he/she is there for u when u need?

I'm happy .. I came to this world ......

I'm happy my parents did not force me to take watever pathway they WANT me to take ... rather ... they let me choose my schools... my clothes... my studies.. my career...... my man ....

Why E.T? ................. well remember in my previous posts I state that I was having block nose perpetually?



Now it became full blown sinus~ Sinus that had been plaguing me since I was young ... sinus that cause my nose/eyes/cheeks to be swollen and ugly... sinus that came suddenly when I just finished eating the (not tasty) salmon kamaage yesterday...

Rushed home after seeing my eyes start to get swollen

So wat is sinus?

Sinus infection, or sinusitis, is an inflammation of the sinuses and nasal passages.

Anatomy of the sinuses (also called paranasal sinuses): The human skull contains four major pairs of hollow air–filled–cavities called sinuses. (This is my case)

Pain across the cheekbone, under or around the eye, or around the upper teeth
Pain or pressure on one side or both
Tender, red, or swollen cheekbone (That's wat I am now~)
Pain and pressure symptoms worse with the head upright and bending forward and better when reclining

Basically it means that there are some cavities around the cheeks, nose and forehead and in some people, allergy may cause the nose mucous to be swollen such that mucus (that cause the nose block) will be trapped there and cannot be cleared... by and by the cavity got inflammed and cavities are chocked up by the mucus hence the swelling

There don't seem to be a cure for it .. just some home treatment and medical nasal spray to prevent or to relieve the symptoms ... however, surgery was mentioned:

"During the surgery, nasal polyps can also be removed, and a crooked nasal septum can be straightened, leading to improved airflow."

But I don't think I will want to go for an operation since it was mentioned that even after going through the operation, long term medication and nasal spray are still needed.

Further, going thru the op may mean that my voice will change ... (voice can be affected by shape of nose, facial bones or even ur ribs) since the sinus area actually controls the resonance...

hence I can only get the nasal spray from my doctor .. suppose to take it everyday for 3 mths then observe whether there are any relapses ...

however, cautioned by the doctor... this CANNOT be cured ... the relieve will only be there for 6 - 12 mths ...so this nasal spray... can be said to be my long term friend ...

This sinus can be found in alot of people, in most people, its very mild so it was usually treated as common flu .... however in some, like myself, its chronic (long term) and quite serious ... since mine is due to the bone structure of my forehead and nose ...

It was worse when I was a child ... often, I was wheezing thru the night as I can't breath ...

So now Ms E.T is on 2 days MC ... (not a happy MC for me I guess)

and poor Ms E.T.... because she can't and refuse to get out of the house with her 2 slitty eyes ...

can only eat

for lunch since they are the only eatable residents left in the fridge... So I arber gei kiang to put the arber hersheys choc in the bun ... and although they dun look arber good but they taste delicious when the choc oooze out as u arber bite into them ... ARBER BAGUS~!

And Y did this gal keep Arber-ing? Its because of this song called "Boring" introduced to us by Phil that caused all the hoo ha abt "Arber"

and Claire and I to laugh hysterically whenever we hear this song ...

and the torment on MRT commuters when I set this as my ringtone ...

and the food sux.... having a strange taste in the normally very tasty potato salad ... and cheepo tasting walls ice cream in the dessert ... totally spoils it all since we usually love to go Breko! for our dinner after choir ...

What Do I do?

My friend once saw my blog ... and she asked me : "为什么你们这些大学生都喜欢玩这种无聊的东西?" (translate: Y u all university under/grads like to play with meaningless blogging?) and I was like "...." din want to get angry at her and there is nothing to get angry about ... since she is not the blogging kind of person or even the internet kind of person, she won't understand ... but wat does she mean by 你们大学生?U mean only University pple can blog? Only university pple can blog about their life, take pictures, up load them on blog or talk about their feelings/research/likes online?


No lo Aunty ... there are University pple , there are poly grads or even Primary sch students blogging (hmm ok la she grad liao) .. and mothers blogging.. there are Bengs blogging ... or even Laozhabo blogging .. no offence to these pple I've linked up, including myself cos I am just trying to illustrate that blogging, can be done by all sorts of people, in any language and any country... as long as what they blog about, is what they really think/feel/researched (not copied hor~!)


then she continued to ask me.... "you spend alot of your time blogging ah? put so many things and pictures.... besides blogging what do you do?


If............ Aunty, I got nothing to do besides blogging, do you think I'll have things to blog about?


My time spent on my blog is long .. yes ... I do agree... but because most of my blog entries are long, alot are filled with pictures ... hence my time spent on blogging ... is to prepare for the posts... e.g editing the photos ... choosing the photos that I can put online ... (hey not every damn photo can be put online ok? Those that protrayed me as short and fat will definitely not make it) ... further, blogging is not only for people to read. Its for myself... my family... where someday, I will read back my posts and be touched further, there are somethings that you just cannot bring urself to say out ... but they can be easily written out on blogs/paper etc....



Of cos besides blogging, I do have my own life.... for the obvious, I work, eat, sleep, do housework (I am a part time housewife too) wa hahaha

For those who don't know, its an online game, where players take up a character or so called jobs (e.g warrior, thief, magician and bow man) complete quests.... there are options to buy their A-cash or so call money where u can then change ur clothes, change hair colour etc ... so that you look unique from others ... but hey this is just a game.... y waste money on it right? so those 小弟小妹don't go and spend so much money on A-cash when u haven even started earning k? and don't be so yaya too ... cos its not ur own money anyway.....

which is quite similar to Maple, although I feel the game interface is not sophisticated enough..
the storyline and quests are more interesting than maple.....

and I watch Videos on you-tube, 恶女阿楚 is my latest watch ... cos its starred by 2 of my favourite Taiwan artistes.... Joanna Zeng and Sam Wang~!

Music~! Music is my life, I can do without the computer but please do not take away music from me.......................

MayDay and Fish Leong~! They are the 2 most unpretentious singers available.... ^-^b

Esp Mayday which although is a rock band, their lyrics are meaningful and alot of their songs are based on the reflections of life or their ambitions and hope like 快乐很伟大 or 一颗苹果 ... whereas alot of band today, based their songs on sex and gore or are simply too rock .. wonder how pple can hear the song with the lead singer screaming all the way... (@_@;)

Fish Leong ... has got the most 纯净 (pure) voice I've ever heard. She is the first singer who let me feel touched whenever I listen to her sing ... (yay~ going to watch her concert next mth~!) ┌(^_^)┘♪└(^_^)┐

And hey, I sing too ok~ not only in KTV, I sing in this choral group called Sounds Easy

Joined choir since P4 till now which is like woops almost 16years~! hahah... most people would have tot choirs/singing groups all sing Haleluia~ but LET ME TELL U .... you are WRONG! times have changed ... choirs/singing groups no longer stand there, not moving, just concentrate on singing like a log ... look at Swingle Singers, Young People's Chorus

very often ... We formed in 2002/2003 by a group of enthusias ...most of us are alumni of JJC choir .... and since we love to sing ... and would like to continue singing, we set out to form this group with our instructor June Lee as the head of the choir ... ( ^^)人(^^ )

Sad to say, as people grow up, they have things to overcome other than their loves and ambitions... and the obstacles are of cos the other halfs, money, studies and work ... so our group member decreases... as new people join, old people left ... but of cos, those who left, we give our well wishes... those who stay, we applaud (^з^)-☆ and wish for more performing opportunities and improvements...........

Community events such as Xmas caroling at West Coast, xmas carols at AWWA, Wedding singers like for FLF wedding and HH wedding, Commercial events such as Xmas at One Fullerton, Changi Airport and the more recent event at DXO ...

I don't do much donations (cept buying cards from Mouth and Foot Artists) or nor am I a good Samaritan. I don't donate blood (Not much to give myself) nor be a volunteer... but I am proud to say, I can make my own decisions with regards to my life... I have beautiful memories which I would like to keep track of ...and taking photos is one of the ways ... so is blogging ...

Keep on blogging and keep blogging original .. ;) great now I sound like some embassador wannabe! ahahaha
